Our precious sister left us too soon, but in her lifetime, she made everyone around her feel special and deeply loved. She was God’s gift to our family.
Gone too soon but never forgotten… Thank u for everything Ate Vivian thank you for being there for us specialy Me thank u for always being an Ate i will surely Miss you… 💚🕊️🕊️
Vivian, as we call each other “my luvz,” was not just a cousin to me, but truly like another sister, genuinely loving, caring, thoughtful, and generous. She has been a constant presence in our lives, always there for every special moment and occasion. Her kind heart, soft-spoken words, and natural way of making us laugh will always be remembered and forever stay with me.
Ate Vivian, you will always hold a special place in my heart. You have most kind and generous soul. I will miss you and our "just thinking of you" texts and emails. I will always remember the times you spoiled me.
Vivian had a gentle presence that made family gatherings feel warmer and more complete. She carried herself with kindness, humility, and a quiet strength that people naturally felt around her.
One thing we will always remember about Vivian was the way she made people feel comfortable and welcomed. Whether during celebrations, simple family moments, or everyday conversations, she brought a calm and caring spirit wherever she went. Her smile and presence will forever remain part of the memories we treasure most.
She was always thinking of others.
One of our last visits with her, Vivian said that she was sorry she wasn’t able to cook and prepare food for us. That was the type of person that she was, kind considerate, loving. Vivian, we love you and will miss your kind and caring soul!
Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we are thankful for the time we shared with her and for the memories that will continue to live on through these photographs and in our hearts. Vivian will always be remembered with love. May God bless you!
VIvian is my batchmate among our cousins. Though we disn’t grow together as she would always be in Cavite and did not frequently visit Bulacan, it was when we were separated farther when we grew closer to each other. Everytime I visited California, being so generous and thoughtful as she is Vianang would always see to it that she would see me and treat me out. She cared for my dad like he was her own, always visiting him bringing food and stuff, always asking how he is doing. Always assuring us that she is there for us.
Her resilience and grace is such an inspiration to all of us. She will forever be our steel magnolia.
Vianang… you will always be in our heats and you will be forever missed ❤️
We love you …
Dear Ate Vivian,
I am so sad I didn’t get to see you one more time and give you a hug. You were always so kind to me when I was growing up and all the way until I became an adult with kids of my own. I remember one summer when I was little and we came to the Philippines to visit, you and Ate Tetet took us to Big Bang. That was one of the best memories of my childhood. I still have the toy monkey you gave me from that trip. You always carried yourself with grace and a quiet strength, I always admired you for that. I will miss you so much but I will carry your memory and your kindness in my heart always. Love you Ate.

If I were to describe my cousin, Ate Viv, in one word, selfless would be perfect.
She was, and always will be, one of the most considerate people I’ve ever known, always putting other people’s needs before her own.
At first, Ate Viv might have seemed reserved, but she was never distant, and she connected deeply with people. Beneath her quiet nature was a warmth that drew people in and made them feel valued.
I will never forget that many years ago, when her brother, Kuya Joel, and I were working at the same company, she would make me chicken sandwiches whenever she packed Kuya Jo’s lunch.
So it came as a shock to all of us when we learned she was sick. She didn’t want people to know because she never wanted to be a burden to anyone. I know many of us still can’t believe that she’s gone, taken from this world at such a young age.
It’s hard to comprehend why things like this happen to people with such pure hearts—to be taken so early in life. We try to make sense of it, asking “why?” But then I realized that Ate Viv had already completed her mission on earth, and it was time for her to receive her reward in heaven, where there is no heartache, no pain, and no suffering.
Those of us left behind will miss her dearly. But she left us a legacy of selflessness, generosity, and compassion. Let’s hold on to that legacy and strive to live the way she did.
Ate Viv, I will miss everything about you—
* Your very neat handwriting
* Your bathroom that always smelled so clean
* Our cousins’ eat-outs together
* Your generous gifts to everyone in our family
* Your dollar game during our New Year’s reunions
* The way we bonded lately over Trader Joe’s bags
These little things may seem ordinary to others, but they are the memories that will forever remind me of you.
Please give your dad, Mama Ollie, Inang, Amang, Mommy, and Daddy a hug for me.
Until we meet again, my dear Ate Viv. We will miss you so much, but we will carry your kindness and selflessness with us always.
