Jesse Medina
Jesse was here for all, to help in any capacity that he could be of service. This was so ever evident from the activities that he participated in. Jesse was an unconditional giver of his time. Jesse was always volunteering and helping organize events to give back to his beloved veteran, military communities and organizations no matter the branch, there wasn’t much that he wouldn’t do.
Mere words can’t describe what a wonderful giving human being Jesse was. He was a soldier with a heart of gold. Jesse was a very gentle soul. He was warm, kind, sincere, empathetic, loving, adventurous, humorous and then some. Jesse had such a huge love for God & his family. His mother, sister’s, brother’s and his beloved nieces and nephews who all filled his heart with love and pride.
We have suffered a truly great loss. On December 18th God took Jesse home. There will now only be peace for a soldier that tried his ultimate best to make this world a better place.
Jesse was a very good man, he will always be remembered and never forgotten. To those of you who always showed him your friendship and your support our most sincere and deepest gratitude for helping him on his journey. God bless you!

I served with Jesse in the mid ’80s, when I was assigned to the US Army Parachute Team (Golden Knights). Jesse was a great soldier, and was always a joy to work with. May he Rest in Peace!!! Prayers for his family & friends, as there is no doubt he will be greatly missed!
Jesse was always working on making life better for Veterans. He was part of the Army Community Partners and was a special person. He will be missed!
I served with Jesse on the United States Army Parachute Team. He was a great team mate, and an outstanding soldier. My condolences to the family.
Jesse and I were stationed at Aviano AB, Italy. He was like a big brother to me. We would address each other as brother and sister. We maintained our friendship even after separating from the military.
Jesse, thoroughly loved serving in the military and loved living in Italy and immersed himself in the culture.
He was passionate about veterans and dedicated himself to helping them in whatever capacity he could. It was not a job for him but a calling in life. He really adored his veterans.
Jesse loved his friends and family; he adored his mom and his wife Lily. Lily you were a gem in his life a shining diamond. Don’t ever forget that.
He will be sorely missed. I am truly blessed to have known him. Until we meet again my brother. You have now been promoted to Gods Army in the heavenlies as a Soldier in Christ.

I am very sorry to hear about my Army Veteran Brother Jesse Medina, we first met at an VBN event at the Orange American Legion Hall in Orange, Ca. He was such a kind and caring man, very concerned about the mental health of his fellow Veteran community members, and I remember he had founded Veteran Strong. I loved the events that he would plan for us to go the Angels Baseball games, and then I was very glad to make friends with him, and I invited him to a Veteran’s Day Dinner out at the McCormick’s and Schmidt’s Restaurant in Anaheim. I have some good memories with Jesse, and my deepest condolences to his family. God Bless

Jesse you were an amazing brother from another mother and a blessed addition to our family. I remember sister and I growing up as little girls seeing you and our brother always together. You were a beautiful human on this earth and will continue carrying that with your beautiful soul in heaven. We love you, gone but never forgotten!
Jesse was my best friend in the 90s. We both served together, ran a few businesses together, and he and I both supported our Country and military together in different ways, but we both love our Country, but Jesse was the 24-7 go-to guy for many of our veterans and at veteran events like the Long Beach Toyota Grand Pre and many other events. Jesse today is probably in Heaven, rallying for our veterans there. God Bless you Jesse and may you lay in peace with Gods everlasting light and love.
