Some memories of grandma that i think about often are, staying at her house and starting our day off with doing a walk with her and rosie.
Then coming home and making breakfast, she made some of the best pancakes.
Today the only pancakes that remind me of hers are at diner called norms, still not the same but it reminds me of them every time i eat there.
After making breakfast, we would always go to the dog park with rosie or the senior center for grandma to visit with her friends.
Most evenings we ended up picking a movie to watch in grandmas Den, she had a huge collection of movies we got to pick from. Eating popcorn or playing cards and doing all those things will forever have a very special place in my heart.
I will always miss my sister, Elaine. I regret that recent surgery prevents me from traveling far from home at this time and I will not be able to attend. My thoughts and prayers are with all of our family as her life is celebrated. I love you all.
I remember going to aunt Elaine's and we walk to the Santa Ana zoo. She didn't have a car at the time. It seemed like we walked forever. I think it was about a mile, but on a busy street.
Also, she used to sing to us when I spent the night at her house. Just remember the line "roses 'round the door, babies on the floor…"😍
