Mejia, David C, 78, of Santa Ana, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. He is survived by his wife, Edna and children Michelle and David; one brother, Manuel; two sisters, Amparo and Maria Luisa. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Edna, David’s wife of fifty four years, son David, daughter Michelle and soul mate Brian. Through my lifetime of knowing David from childhood, Our Good Lord has blessed both our families with respect, togetherness, closeness and solidarity.
The love and support displayed by his siblings and relatives in his final hours speaks volumes in what David meant to everyone. His everlasting memories of laughter, humor and good will, we shall never forget! Rest in Peace my good man, you are missed!

We worked together for a long time at UCI. He was my boss for a while and became good friends. I became a supervisor later and he allowed me to expand my knowledge in horticulture and supervision. Because of Dave I was able expand my contacts throughout the industry and became a president for a few years for local chapter of the Sports Turf Managers Association which is a national organization. Thanks Dave!
My deepest sympathies, Dave and my son Tim, will have some good times catching up with each other in Heaven. Edna, I will be praying for you and your family.
