This number is recorded on a stainless steel identification disc that accompanies your loved one through every stage of the cremation process. Our tracking system records the date and time of arrival at our facility, the name of the transfer technician, and all subsequent steps. Personal belongings are carefully documented and stored in a secure area until they are returned to the family.
Family Identification
Before the cremation takes place, our staff will prepare your loved one and invite you or a designated family representative to positively confirm their identity. This step provides an additional layer of verification and gives families a final opportunity to say goodbye in a private, dignified setting.
Dual-Review Authorization
Our standards require that two staff members independently review all cremation paperwork before the cremation proceeds. This review confirms that all legal authorizations have been received and properly documented. Both staff members must sign the cremation order before the process begins.
Documentation and Chain of Custody
A detailed cremation log records the name of your loved one, the date and time of the cremation, the unique identification number, the crematory operator’s name, and all relevant information. The log is initialed by the cremation technician before and after the process. After the Cremation
Once the cremation is complete, the cremated remains are placed with the stainless steel identification disc into the urn or container selected by the family. When you receive the cremated remains, you will also be presented with an official Certificate of Cremation, which confirms that every safeguard described above was followed.
