How many times did we visit your home on Halladay, when we were kids. The first thing that El Compadre Angel would say in an exciting way, “Compa! (To our Dad) Como esta? Pasen, Pasen” the Compadre Angel in an excited but welcoming manner, say to all of us. He always made us feel important and a pleasure to see visit you all. Next, we would see the Comadre Fina, always so kind and beautiful, fresh from the beauty salon. Such a gracious lady, with her soft but friendly attitude. The Comadre would call out to Junior, always looking for him. Next, Margie would quickly come out of her room. I thought that she had the coolest teenage portable record player. We would listen to some of her records. Oh, what beautiful memories of one of the nicest families that we had known since we first came to Delhi, then to live on Hickory. We looked up to your family. You were always s such a wonderful example of such nice friends. You all will forever be in our hearts for sharing yourselves and your kindness with us. God bless our Compa, now that he joins his beautiful wife. We will see each other in God comfort.one day. Thank you friends. Our deepest condolences to Margie, Junior and your families.
My uncle Angel Andrade came into the Lujan family as a loving husband to my Aunt Fina, my mother’s sister. Angel was a loving husband, and a devoted Dad to Margaret and Angel Jr. In subsequent decades he would prove to be a remarkable Grandfather and Great grandfather as well. Angel was hard-working. A man of faith who put his trust in his abilities to complete any task he was committed to by hard work, and by a strong religious faith that helped empower him. Angel was outgoing and friendly, a man who was quick to provide a helping hand when it was needed. He will be missed by his surviving family members, by cronies from his church organizations, and by his many friends. He has now gone on to join his dear wife, and those who he left behind will miss him dearly. Adios y Vaya con Dios Angel.
Lovingly,
Vicky
I was a very young child during the years we lived on Hickory near his home. I am the son of Salvador & Consuelo Gutierrez. I remembered how he always looked happy and smiling with joking and laughter. It was nice to have such a pleasant family as neighbors. I always knew which house was theirs. About 5-8 years ago was the last few times I saw him. He would take walks around the block and it was one of those times I came with my parents for a visit. His happiness and strength is how I remembered him. This is the type of person we all wish to have as a good friend.
I met Mr. Andrade at the young age of 13, when I started dating his son. He was the kindest man I’ve ever known, always welcomed me with open arms. I remember from day one he referred to me as Mija and I cherished his term of endearment, no matter how much time had passed since seeing him, his love and warmth was always felt. A piece of my heart is gone since losing him, he was an amazing father figure to me and I adored him, his beautiful wife and their whole family. My thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences go out to his family! I was truly blessed to have had him in my life for so many years and will always have the fondest memories of him. Rest I’m peace Mr. Andrade ❤️
