My grandma was a true angel. She was loving, funny, and taught me so much. She always loved telling me and my kids the story of when I was a baby and she was changing my diaper, how I would cry and tell her I wanted my dad instead. She would look at me so sweet when she’d tell it. I will miss that look in her face so much. I know she is in heaven now with my grandpa and our other family we have lost along the way. I hope she is also with my dad… looking down on us from heaven. We’ve gained a lot of guardian angels this year, and although it’s a blessing and God’s Will, I have to say that this year has been the roughest for us yet. I will forever listen to Los Laureles and picture her making albondigas in the kitchen. I miss you abuelita, amor de mis amores… la quiero con todo mi corazon, siempre.
