Guestbook

  1. I met Glen about 15 years ago at The Lost Bean Organic Coffee & Tea Shop. There was a group of regulars there, the gentleman who actually told me & yes told me to “pull up a milk stool and stay awhile” was Glen’s very good friend USMC Colonel Noel Keller. They had seen me come to get my Bagel & tea everyday & run back home So it seems I was now the adoptive daughter of this amazing group of gentlemen. I loved sitting with them & listening bro their stories, ESPECIALLY Glens stories. Glen remembered every single story. Stories from age 5 to the last time I saw him
The stories of his life never changed. They were always exactly the same. His mind was sharper than mine. I mentioned that I wish he would write us a book so we all would have his memories on paper, but I don’t think he ever did that. I think he liked reading better than writing.
Glen loved my dog, Ringo. Ringo is 5 years old. Glen thought I said his name was “Burley”. I tried to let him know, “no it’s Ringo”, but his hearing was failing him. So, you know what, Ringo & I really didn’t care, Burley it was! 😊. I will really miss Glen. He would always say to me when he was leaving the coffee shop “you know who loves you the best”. I would say ” yes I do!” Well Glen ” you know who loves you the best “. 🙋🏻‍♀️🐶
