Joan Panisa
On January 3, 1968, a beautiful soul was born into this world. Her name is Joan Bennett Panisa, born to the parents Romeo and Edith Panisa. She was the second raised along with her siblings Maridel, Joemel and Romeo Jr. Panisa. Joan was born in Zamboanga City, Philippines and grew up in South America, the islands of Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana. She came to the United States to further her future and have her ambitions.Joan attended her 11th and 12th grade at Hayward High. Though, that was not the end for Joan. She continued with the determination to go to college and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business administration and specialized in Human resources at Cal State University. She has been residing in Irvine, California since 2001. Joan brought two wonderful sons into this world, the names William and Jonathan. Since then Joan has made wonderful friends and touched many lives. Her sons described her as a selfless, caring, joyful person. There was never an end; she always was starting something new. Joan was determined and ambitious and there was no mountain she could not climb, or any obstacle that was thrown at her that she couldn’t overcome.Joan loved spending time with her boys, shopping, renovation, adventures, hiking and so much more. She always pushed herself and believed in the moral good in everyone, if you needed help she was always there no matter what. Joan's life was short-lived and taken from her. But no one will ever forget how much of a loving mother, daughter, sister, partner, and aunt she was and always in our heart will be.

Joan was the first smiling face I saw when I joined CA and we formed a quick friendship that only grew stronger over the 11 years we worked together. She was so much more than a colleague – a trusted shoulder to lean on and always the person ready with an encouraging word or joke to lighten heavy moments. We shared so many laughs, memories and stories together including mommy moments of each raising two boys. I’ll miss her friendship deeply and never forget how she made the years at CA so special. Be at peace Joan. Wishing your family the strength to bear this loss.
Joan you will be missed by so many. You knew no strangers and were there for everyone no matter their need. We will never forget your kind soul. You and Jonathon came to Oregon to visit your brother Joemel , when we moved there and helped us unload our big Uhaul I will always be grateful to your kindness, you loved Oregon so much you had planned on moving there and I sent you a message telling you to hurry because I couldn’t wait to spend more time with you.
You were our Angel on earth and now You are our Angel in heaven. May you Rest In Peace
