Joey and I were friends for more than 60 years growing up just four houses apart on Cypress Street in the early 60’s.
I will always remember all the fun we had playing football on the field at Edison Elementary School, slot car racing, going to the football games at the Santa Ana bowl, and just hanging out with him and his brother Tudy at our houses.
I am lucky to have known him and called him my friend for all those years and will miss that deep, crazy, uncontrollable, laugh of his. But most of all, I will miss YOU my friend.
I pray that God blesses you and receives you into heaven so you can be with your wife Lila, your Dad, Big Tudy, and your brother Bebe, and all of your loved ones who have gone before you.
I know we’ll all see each other again someday, and until then, God speed.
Love you Bro.
Edgie
