Any Julia was definitely very stern whiles we would visit when I was young. I think my happiness memory of her was the last time I got to see her. She came up here to Chico to visit my mom (her sister) Gretchen. As I was now an adult in my 30’s, she no longer treated me like a child, and it was an experience I can’t really describe in words. The feelings I got that made me feel accepted and welcomed were like nothing I had experienced during my childhood visits. She still has a spot in my heart full of love and good memories, and will always be remembered by me. Sincerely her nephew, Zachary (Zack) Conway
