In Loving Memory of Miguel “Mike” Casas

November 2, 1956 – October 19, 2026

On October 19, 2026, Miguel “Mike” Casas passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and love. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Casas and their two children, Miguel Casas Jr. and Michelle Casas.

Mike always called Santa Ana home. It was there that he met the love of his life, Maria, with whom he shared 36 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a beautiful life centered around love, family, and countless memories.

Mike was a man of many talents, known for his creativity, artistic abilities, and even his magic tricks. Whether he was drawing, painting, crafting, or entertaining others, he had a special way of bringing joy to those around him. He was also a wonderful cook and baker who enjoyed preparing delicious meals and sweet treats for his family. Mike believed in always being prepared and often spent his evenings getting everything ready for the following day, or as he would say, “setting himself up for success.”

As one of eight siblings, Mike grew up surrounded by family and carried a special love for each of his brothers and sisters, appreciating their unique personalities and the bonds they shared. Family meant everything to him. He loved his wife Maria with all his heart, and his children were his world, his greatest pride and joy. No matter the time or circumstance, Mike was always just a phone call away.

Mike loved a good conversation and could talk for hours about baseball, football, family memories, or whatever was happening in the world. He had a gift for turning even the simplest conversations into memorable moments, often sharing stories filled with humor, wisdom, and a little bit of mischief. Those who knew him will always remember his storytelling and his creativity.

Above all, Mike was a devoted husband, a proud and loving father and  cherished brother.  Although his passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot express, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever. His laughter, his stories, his lessons, and the little things that made him who he was will continue to bring comfort to those who loved him. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
