Rozanne Clare Englehart
Rozanne Englehart, 64, passed away in Brea, California on February 19, 2021. She is warmly held in the hearts of her friends, family, and everyone who knew her.
She was born in Levittown, Pennsylvania and moved to Southern California in the late 1950s with her parents Tom and Wilma Englehart. She lived in Orange County, the San Fernando Valley, and Glendale. She studied Radio, TV, and Film and earned an MBA at Cal State Northridge. Rozanne spent most of her career in an industry she loved, working at KFI, Marketron, KTLA, KCBS, KCOP, Warner Brothers, Fox Movie Channel, and Sony.
In Glendale, Rozanne turned her focus from the entertainment industry to yoga. Yoga at the Village opened her to the healing attributes of dedicated practice. She and her since-deceased husband Garry Haverland moved to Yorba Linda, where they opened Yoga Sol Studio in 2012.
Rozanne will be remembered for her consistently positive attitude and huge generosity. She had an extraordinary ability to recognize talent in others and build them up so they could achieve more than they imagined possible for themselves. She had a passion for the arts, golf, and classic rock.
She is survived by her sisters Cathy, Barbara, Janice, and Mary; sister-in-law Marsha McMillian and step- son Leland McMillian and his family; and the Haverland family, including mother-in-law Rosemary, siblings Pam, Mark, Mindy, and Brenda, and children Courtney, Devin, and Kelly and their seven wonderful children.
A virtual memorial will be held on Sunday, February 28th at 1:00 pm PST. Details will be posted to the https://www.yogasolstudio.com/ Yoga Sol website as soon as available.
The extended family will hold a small in-person rosary and meditation under the full moon in an outdoor Yorba Linda park on Saturday, February 27th, 5:30 – 6:30 PST. Due to COVID, we ask you to join us in spirit by lighting a candle with your own prayers or ritual practice at home.

I was so fortunate to have Rozanne serve as my boss at KTLA, which would serve as the foundation of becoming a life-long friend. Rozanne was brilliant, creative and a great mentor. Through the years we supported each other in both our successes as well as challenges. She was so thoughtful and giving and always remembered my birthday. I know Rozanne had so much love for her immediate and extended family, and I am thankful I have had the opportunity to know them. I will carry our friendship forever. Some of my fondest memories of Rozanne include participating in her Academy Award pool, (how did she always win?) . …And attending the Soul Train Awards at the Shrine Auditorium. We had parked our car in stacked parking and could not open the passenger door, and had to crawl out the window in our dresses to get to the event. My love, support, and prayers are with Rozanne and family. – Gretchen Dible
Rozanne made a positive difference in my life. She opened a door to better health and meditation that I might not have found on my own. She rescued me at my very first yoga class when I thought I couldn’t do it and gave me the confidence to continue. Thank you Rozanne. I will pass that gracious favor on to others. Namaste.
We first met Rozanne after our son Aaron and Gary’s daughter Kelly had announced their engagement. They came out to Austin and we spent a wonderful weekend showing them the sites of South Texas.
We continued to renew our friendship in subsequent visits. Her warmth and charm will be missed.
Our condolences to her family and friends.
Rick and Barbara Marco.
We will miss her smile and warm friendship.

They continued to visit periodically and we enjoyed our mutual love of the arts and wine. She fell in love with Texas and helped Kelly and Aaron with ideas for their home.
We will miss her and our deepest condolences to her family.

Rozanne was a dynamo, caring and creative with lots of energy. I enjoyed being a member of her yoga studio and the camaraderie and excellent teachers and classes. She will be missed deeply. Her stories, her sense of fun, and her yoga with ropes class were what I’ll remember. Especially nice was her participating in class right along side us. I can feel that energy and determination alongside me still in the Yoga Sol classes I continue to take. My heart goes out to her beautiful family and friends.
